Address

Are you a current UIC student looking for leadership opportunities?

Are you someone who learns by doing?

Are you looking to make a difference on campus and off?

UIC Student Leadership and Civic Engagement is recruiting student leaders to participate in the Fall 2018 Service Leaders Program. The Service Leaders Program is a leadership development program centered around service and community engagement. Service Leaders will take on responsibilities for planning the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service (Monday, January 21, 2019), 10th Annual UIC Day of Service (Saturday, April 13, 2019), IGNITE the Conversation, Civic Engagement Week 2019, and other volunteer events/programs (Make Mondays Matter & GIVE). These individuals will attend bi-weekly meetings with their Committee Leaders in order to ensure the smooth execution of the programs being planned.

As a Service Leader, you must attend committee meetings on a regular basis.

Committee Meeting Times (Fall 2018): Mondays from 1-2PM OR Mondays from 2-3PM. You must be able to attend ONE of these meetings at the same time bi-weekly.

To learn more and to apply, visit: go.uic.edu/ServiceLeaders.

Note: If your schedule prevents you from meeting with the team, please consider serving as a Site Leader for the program. Site Leaders will facilitate activities and provide additional support to any events the Service & Committee Leaders may have planned. If this sounds more like you, let's talk.
