Marvin Slaughter named Newman Fellow
The Daily Southtown features a profile of Marvin Slaughter, a junior in political science and economics, for being named a 2018 Newman Civic Fellow. Slaughter was recognized for his civic engagement on and off campus, which includes serving as president of the UIC Student Advocacy Coalition and various advocacy efforts in support of UIC and higher education funding.
