UIC Ignites the Conversation
To kick off the Fall 2018 Semester, UIC Student Leadership and Civic Engagement introduced their new civic-dialogue series “IGNITE the Conversation.” The series intends to engage UIC students on the topics of leadership, community, and active citizenship. Students have the opportunity to express their political affiliations, issues that matter to them, and their desire to spark a change, all while having fun in a Ball-Pit (yes, a Ball-Pit). Additionally, students have the opportunity to register to vote and sign up for election reminders through a new partnership with TurboVote (vote.uic.edu).
Missed the first event? Don’t worry! The IGNITE the Conversation Ball-Pit will pop up all across campus throughout the next few weeks.
