Maya Dagamac

About
Maya is a dedicated student leader at UIC and is involved with many student organizations and programs across campus. She currently serves as the Co-president of the Pre-Occupational Therapy Club and Treasurer of the Rehabilitation Science Student Club, where she supports and helps build community among pre-health students. Maya also serves as a Peer Coach with the Academic Support and Achievement Program and as a Student Ambassador for the College of Applied Health Sciences. Through her leadership and service, she works to strengthen the UIC community and promote student success.
Maya found that being involved in a wide range of activities helped her build meaningful friendships with people of all ages and academic backgrounds. These experiences supported her academic, professional, and personal growth while giving her a strong sense of community at UIC.
After graduation, she plans to attend occupational therapy school. Her dream job is to become a neuro occupational therapist
