About
Aditi Vinay is a senior at the University of Illinois Chicago pursuing a double degree in Biology and Psychology, along with a certificate in Health, Culture, and Society. Originally from Lombard, Illinois, she is on the pre-med track and will graduate in Spring 2026. On campus, Aditi serves as Vice President of Delta Epsilon Mu – Psi Chapter and as Speaker Series Chair for Aahana. She has also expanded her global perspective by traveling to Ghana in May 2024 with Global Medical Brigades.
Aditi chose UIC because of its diversity, location, and strong academics. She values the university’s diverse student population, believing it fosters inclusive classrooms and meaningful conversations. She is also grateful to study in Chicago, a city she loves and actively explores, and appreciates UIC’s academic rigor along with its prestigious research opportunities and facilities.
Her involvement in student organizations has enriched her education by helping her build meaningful connections and friendships. Through these experiences, she has found support both inside and outside the classroom—collaborating with peers in challenging courses while also forming lasting personal bonds. She credits her campus involvement with many of the opportunities and relationships she values most.
Aditi’s dream is to become a pediatric trauma physician, working in diverse and international settings, particularly with organizations like Doctors Without Borders. In addition to her medical aspirations, she hopes to continue pursuing creative passions such as music and art.
