Alexander Williams, Jr. is a senior Computer Science major at the University of Illinois Chicago with extensive leadership, service, and industry experience. Originally from Normal, Illinois, he has worked as a software engineering intern for State Farm and as a tutor at the Math & Science Learning Center, using these roles to support student success across diverse learning communities. As a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., he has demonstrated leadership at both local and state levels, currently serving as Illinois Assistant District Director and chairing multiple strategic committees. With over 750 hours of verified community service, Alexander is a recognized servant-leader committed to mentorship, engagement, and community impact.

He chose UIC for its diverse communities and its proximity to downtown Chicago, which have both contributed to his personal and professional growth.

After graduation, Alexander will be joining State Farm as a Software Engineer, continuing his commitment to excellence and impact in the field of technology.
